What's included

The outdoors is for everyone, and your portfolio should show it. We're intentional about casting real, diverse couples, including BIPOC and LGBTQ+ couples, so your future clients can see themselves reflected in your work.

Diverse, real couples

Not included: lodging, transportation, park entry fees, and other personal expenses.

You'll get immediate access to a private group with your fellow attendees, so you can coordinate carpools, travel, and lodging, and start making friends before you arrive. Most people come solo and don't stay strangers for long. In an industry where we don't have coworkers, the connections and referrals you walk away with end up being priceless.

A private attendee group and lasting community

This content day takes place on public land in the North Cascades, and I'll walk you through the special use permitting process start to finish, which is the exact skill you'll need every time you photograph a couple on protected land. We'll also cover the Leave No Trace principles that protect these spaces and why understanding our impact matters. Protecting the places we shoot in is part of our job as photographers, and learning to do it right makes you more bookable and a better steward of the land we all love.

Permitting + Leave No Trace education

Two couples, two full day elopements. Each one is planned like a real elopement: slow mornings, first looks, ceremony moments, golden hour portraits, and the in-between details that make a gallery feel real. You're not walking away with a handful of pretty photos. You're walking away with full, realistic galleries that let couples truly picture themselves in the story.

Two full adventure elopement galleries

We keep groups small and split into even smaller rotations between the two couples, so everyone gets equal shooting time and nobody's fighting for the frame. The photographers you'll be standing shoulder to shoulder with? You'll leave calling them friends

An intimate, supportive shooting group

Every content day is a single day, sunrise to sunset, built like two real elopements from start to finish.

Grab your spot during launch week and get my full North Cascades location guide.

It includes where to eat, the best hikes and hidden gems, the top ceremony locations in the area, adventure activities, and vendor recommendations, packaged as a resource you can use for your own business and pass straight to your future couples eloping in the area.

It's the kind of thing that makes couples trust you instantly, because it proves you actually know this place.

Get on the North Cascades waitlist to be the first to know when applications open, and get priority when they do.

When applications go live, tell me a little about you, your goals, and why this content day feels like a fit. Keeping groups small and intentional is part of what makes these days work.

When approved, secure your place with your $250 deposit and sign your agreement. That's it, you're in!

Your questions, answered

A single day, sunrise to sunset, structured like two real, full-day elopements. You'll photograph two couples across three different locations, plus a North Cascades-specific adventure activity. Everything is planned start to finish so you leave with complete, realistic galleries you can use to book full-day elopements.

I've had those experiences too, which is exactly why I build these with intention. Every shoot is planned to give you galleries you can actually use to pitch full-day, high-ticket elopements and start booking the kind of work you want. And yes, you'll walk away with new friends too.

Small, on purpose. We include two couples at each shoot location and split the group in two, rotating equally between couples. That way everyone gets equal shooting time and there's no fighting for the frame. It makes the day better creatively, and it makes it way easier to actually connect with the people you're shooting alongside.

The waitlist is where you want to be. Waitlisters get access to tickets a full 24 hours before anyone else, plus first dibs on the launch bonus. With spots this limited, there's a real chance a content day sells out to the waitlist before the public ever sees it. Joining costs you nothing and holds your place at the front of the line.

The application is quick, and it's how I get to know you and your goals so the day actually delivers what you need and so the group stays small and intentional.

No, permitting for the content day is taken care of. But I'll walk you through the special use permitting process so you understand exactly how it works, because you'll need to do it yourself when you photograph your own couples on protected land down the road. You'll still need to cover your own park entry/recreation pass.

Leave No Trace is foundational to everything I do. Respecting and protecting the land we work on isn't optional, it's part of our job as photographers. I plan every content day with our impact in mind, and I'll teach you the principles so you can carry them into your own work and pass them on to your couples.

Not much, which is why this day works. There are two small hikes involved, both under a mile each way. Wear comfortable hiking shoes with good tread, expect mud or snow (it’s the PNW after all!), and you’ll be fine.

Late September is a gorgeous window up here. The road to Artist Point is only reliably open a few months a year, and early fall means crisp air, golden light, and the first hints of autumn color in the alpine. That said, this is the Pacific Northwest at 5,000 feet. Bring layers, bring a rain shell, and be ready for anything. (Weather-dependent adjustments are always part of the plan.)

Fly into Bellingham (BLI) for the closest option, or Seattle (SEA) if the flights make more sense. Bellingham is roughly 55 miles from Artist Point via the Mt. Baker Highway, and Seattle is about a 3-hour drive. The closest lodging is in Glacier, WA, with more options in Maple Falls, Deming, and Bellingham. A vehicle is required, and the attendee group makes it easy to split a rental or coordinate lodging.

The North Cascades are calling.

One day. two galleries. One booking to make it all worth it.

Picture it: your gallery from Artist Point, golden larches and Mount Baker and that warm alpine light, pulling in the exact couples you've been dreaming of booking. A place you can shoot again and again for your own couples, starting with the portfolio you build here. That gallery is one day away.
